I'm going to keep this short and sweet...
Since I'm so busy being a full time student and a single mother I'm going to keep this post short and sweet.
Now first of all I want to mention that this isn't my first attempt attending this school, but it's my second. The first time in 2011 I had to drop out because I had gotten pregnant and couldn't attend anymore with morning sickness being so bad and being emotional didn't help either. For the first three years of my son's life I wanted to dedicate all my time to him as a single mother; I thought of myself as a double parent. Four years later I'm finally back here and I'm taking it much more seriously than I did when I was 19.
Comparing this year from 2011, they have changed a bit. One of the changes would have to be the painting assignments - There's a lot more!
The instructor is constantly telling us
"Ovoids are LIFE"
and let me tell you, this is true! He had also warn us in the beginning that we will be seeing ovoids in everything we see for now on.
Also true! When I look at a river, I see ovoids; when my son makes a train track, I see ovoids.
Starting this week we are going to be busy with shop safety, chainsaw safety, and then first Aid. After that we start our tool making. Which I've done before and can't wait to do again!
